NICHOLSON is a live electronica project based out of Mumbai, India and is the brainchild of singer-songwriter Sohrab Nicholson and producer/drummer and multi-instrumentalist Rohan Ramanna. Soon after meeting, they began to co-write their first EP together at Cotton Press Studio. ‘For What’ was released at their first live show in May, 2014 at the National Centre for Performing Arts in Mumbai to a sold out theatre.
Their music is an amalgamation of the similarities and disparities in their individual tastes. Heavily influenced by Jazz, Folk, Pop, Electronica, Soul, RnB, Hip-Hop, feature film scores…, and not bound by genre, Nicholson as a project aims to put forward a live show that stylistically evolves, to bridge the gap, so to speak, between electronic and organic music lovers.

I was hired by Sohrab to design the identity for the NICHOLSON project and album art for their first EP 'For What'.
